acoustic bass guitar or 5string electric bass?pls?
ok ok its wat the title says i aint really a pro so thats y i am asking…
so ya i have a 4 bass string guitar the normal 1 electric lets say….now i am planning on getting a new 1 thing is i have a choice…but i aint sure wat to choose…xD
1: 5 string bass…u know havin the B string more notes ect xD thats normal got till there
2: get an acoustic bass guitar(with frets cuz i always saw fretless donnu y !)now thing is i donnu thats y i am asking…in the aquestic 1 can u have 5 strings or only 4? and a friend fo mine said that u need to plug it with somethin to actually make sound but then agian if its true y is it acoustic?! so is it rue or u can play ungplgged and still hear a clear sound?
pls answer thanks (give your opinion in wat would u choose)
PS: i mainly play rock music and classical and sometimes just to practice on somethin RnB and RAP

go with the acoustic. i think you’re friend is saying it’s a acoustic/eletric, you can still hear it without it being plugged in.
5string basses are for limp bizkit cover bands.
